World Series
Now enters the time of year where I start to watch baseball, the world series. Yankess got theirs Sunday. Now it will be a Philly vs Yankees series. Philly the defending champ, Yankees the overpaid, overhyped contender. Should be a good series.

could it be worse than two cess pool cities playing for the title? might as well have the mangers pee and vomit on home plate before every game
I am willing to bet I do not watch a single inning. I will be hoping for a micro burst that destroys yankee stadium and injures enough players (just enough to put them out 4 weeks not serious) that the world series is canceled

Should be an excellent series. I am picking the Phillies in 6, based on their SUPERIOR bats (1 thru 9...yes, even the Phillies DH). Our weakness will be at home, where the bench will need to be utilized. This is where the Yankees are superior. Once you get past Ben Francisco we have nothing. The Yankees may have an advantage at starting pitching, but it really depends on which Hamels shows, which Burnett, which Pedro. If Pedro pitches like he has most of this season (with the 1 bad game being the game he was hurt...maybe there were 2, the one he was hurt and the one he came back after missing 1 start), we have 2 aces.
Can't wait for Wednesday.
And remember, Dallas is the city that brought you the Alan Ross Texas Freedom Parade... Gay Pride Dallas 2009 - Alan Ross Texas Freedom Pride 2009 - Dallas Gay Pride 2009 - Gay Dallas - Dallas Tavern Guild - Dallas Gay Festivals Parades
If you missed this years event, I am sure you know a friend in Texas that can provide you with copies of their photos from this historic event.

Re: World Series
yeah the less disgusting phils beat the much more disgusting yanks in game one
maybe if the Phils sweep then the dark lord steinbrenner will sell the yankees off and they empire will die a slow 15 win a season death
of course this goofy Philly team has no business touching history with back to back titles either
hell I might actually want the evil empire to win this thing

Re: World Series
Nice season for the Phillies. Maybe if Howard didn't set a SO record maybe they'd have won. What the hell was his problem?
