I was really suprised by this. Looked like a fight was going to happen over who would take his place, and he was vowing not to leave. Pancreautic cancer is painfull, he had to know something was wrong. He served the NFL players well and will be missed. May God look over you Gene Upshaw!

Guess what the mascot for the H.S. that Upshaw attended is? They are called the Cotton Pickers. How do you think that would fly in say a town like Atlanta or D.C.?
