Re: Cowboys News
Cowboys players are complaining about "promotions" for the new stadium taking away from practice time
calling it a "circus like atmosphere"
and now word has it Jerry Jones is openly lobbying the NFL to re-instate Pac Man Jones today
despite the fact niether head coach Wade Phillips or defensive captain Bradie James want him back
just when the Cowboys look to be getting back on track Jerry Jones has to take them on a detour?? WTF

Re: Cowboys News
I'd cut Jones, and just worry about getting Jenkins and Scandrick game experience. I'd be more focused on the longterm look of the team rather than this year.

Jones should be using his considerable influence with the league to keep Pac Man suspended
Then he does not have to...
PAY pac man
Worry about Pac Man joining another team
Or deal with Pac Man trying to return
just let Goodell shelve Pac Man for 2 years and then use the contract dollars to sign a free agent in the non cap year

Re: Cowboys News
Adam Jones will have a 6 game suspension and then be allowed to return to the NFL
as is the increasingly growing habit of this commissioner he will allow a COWBOYS player to practice with the team while serving the last of his suspension.
so get arrested 13 times in 4 years
come back under no tolerance and beat up the man paid to prevent you from getting trouble and well that no tolerance thing means NOTHING if there is a star on your helment
this is a mockery
Adam Jones is just goign to keep going and keep gong until someone gets maimed for live OH WAIT HE DID THAT, until someone dies OH WAIT THAT HAPPENED TOO
this man needs to be under a prison somewhere
Vick hurts dogs and gets almost 2 years
Jones hurts people and gets to play football

Re: Cowboys News
Tony Romo made one man very happy, and it had nothing to do with throwing touchdowns.
 Romo
The Dallas Morning News reported on Wednesday that the Cowboys quarterback took a homeless man to the movies recently.
The man, who goes by Doc, was outside a theater in in Dallas when a man came up and offered to pay his way to see a movie. Planning on passing out fliers for a consignment store across the street, Doc declined. But then he realized that he had just turned down Romo.
He ran across the street, asked for the day off and ran back to the theater. Romo and Doc ended up sitting together watching the movie "Role Model." Doc told the newspaper that he informed Romo that he hadn't showered in days.
"Don't worry about that," Romo said, according to the newspaper. "I'm used to locker rooms."
Romo reportedly also changed the tire of a couple on the way home the night of the season opener and showed up to a high school pep rally with actor Will Smith earlier this week. He confirmed the encounter with Doc but wouldn't elaborate.
This latest gesture really impressed Doc.
"For me, it was a blessing," Doc said. "It came at just the right time. It gave me some encouragement and faith in mankind. I just wanted to say thank you."

Re: Cowboys News
Felix Jones is done for the year. He tore a toe ligament while rehabbing his hamstring.
I tell you when it rains it pours. The Cowboys have been unusually healthy the last few years, but that has ended.

well at least this gives Pac Man Jones a job, with out upsetting the improved secondary where his play this year ranks him as maybe the 4th CB
he can return kicks and punts
maybe even play offense or give him some snaps at safety

Sadly, I think, he is first or second on the team in passes defensed, despite his layoff.

he had to be first or second in burnt for a completion and missed tackles too
altough it is hard to beat Roy Williams on the first and Mike Jenkins on the second
