Here is an update on Cowboys too... From the Star-Telegram:
Cowboys receiver Terrell Owens, out since last week with a sore hamstring, increased his rehab for a second consecutive day. He worked with strength coach Joe Juraszek during practice, doing resistance training. He spent more than 30 minutes after practice catching passes with rookie receiver Sam Hurd from rookie quarterback Matt Baker. Owens had one word when asked about his progress: "Better."
PLAY OF THE DAY
Cornerback Aaron Glenn, who for the second consecutive day got team reps in place of a seemingly ailing Terence Newman, picked off a Drew Bledsoe pass in the morning practice.
Then the fun began.
A cornered Glenn flipped the ball to cornerback Anthony Henry, who went upfield with an entourage. The play drew the ire of defensive coordinator Mike Zimmer because of the potential dangers of pitching the ball.
THE BUZZ
Scouting swap
Coach Bill Parcells said he will soon send a couple of scouts to another team or two, and he will let a couple of scouts visit the Cowboys to evaluate players in hopes of facilitating a trade.
Parcells said the Cowboys are heavy at a couple of positions and would like to see if they can use that to fill needs in other areas, such as receiver.
Parcells said he has swapped scouts in the past, namely with former Green Bay Packers general manager Ron Wolf.
Vanderjagt struggles
Mike Vanderjagt, the most accurate kicker in NFL history, has been less than perfect. He missed all three field goal attempts in practice.
Vanderjagt said he is not concerned because the Cowboys' season opener is a month away.
"We are not concerned about makes and misses," Vanderjagt said. "We are just trying to peak at the right time."
While Vanderjagt might not be worried, Bill Parcells' patience is wearing thin.
"I would say we've been a little inconsistent to this day," Parcells said.
Putting on a show
A camera crew from NFL Films filmed practice on Wednesday. Cowboys coach Bill Parcells was happy to give them a show. He was all over the field interacting with players -- teaching and admonishing in his usual cursing style. Tackle Dennis Roland got in Parcells' cross hairs for not being on the field during a kick-return drill.
"Miss one on Saturday [against Seattle] and that's $500!" Parcells screamed.
Tyson's lecture
Running back Tyson Thompson of Irving and running backs coach Anthony Lynn got an earful from Bill Parcells because Thompson didn't run upfield or downhill.
"On the inside runs, he goes downhill hard," Parcells said. "He really does. He goes downhill, and he's explosive in the hole. He does all those things. When he is running on an angle in the off-tackle hole, when he clears the hole, you don't see that same downhill. And I'm trying to get him to do what I see him do inside on the corner. Because if he does that, he's going to be a big yard gainer."
Ellis a bright spot
Bill Parcells said Greg Ellis' transition from defensive end to linebacker has been one of the unexpected positives of training camp so far.
"I wasn't sure how it was going to go," Parcells. "I think that would be a positive, definitely."

I find Vanderjagt quite amusing as he is the most confident professional athelete I have ever heard speak, and that is saying quite a lot.
