any thought that the Cowboys are falling apart are being over sold
Spears is hurt but nothing else in Dallas is going that wrong and the Spears injury is really off set by Dallas's decision to retain Greg Ellis after Ellis asked to be traded.

Oh, I know that. The only place where I have heard that the Cowboys look bad is here. I expect the Cowboys to be one of the best teams in the NFC.....it will either be them or the Eagles as Division champs. Depends all on TO. If he is under control, which I think he will be for the first season, he will be incredible and should carry them to the NFC Championship, at the minimum. I love their talent, just hate that they wear the star. A healthy Cowboys team with an under control TO and a protected Bledsoe is the best in the division. I am going to go hang myself now.

With the teams you root for, you don't have a lot of bright spots, eh?

Roy Williams to remain a Cowboy for Life?
Or at least 5 more years.
Quote:
|
Williams signed a five-year, $25.2 million deal with a guaranteed $11.1 million before Wednesday's morning practice. The three-time Pro Bowl safety had been entering the final year of his deal before receiving this four-year extension.
|
I remember back when the Cowboys signed Deion and he got a 13 millon dollar guarantee, at the time the biggest around. Roy Williams is no Deion. Yet now the top rookies are getting 26 million dollar guarantees without ever playing. It is crazy.
I like Roy though. He is a vicious hitter, just not the best pass defender.
