wonder now if we see Ted Thompson entertain a big name free agent.
TT loved Alexander so much he send Ahman Green and a draft pick to GB for him before.
For the record try him out if you must TT but leave him be he is DONE

The New York Daily News is suggesting that the Seahawks have made it know they will be a player in the Jeremy Shockey sweepstakes. (looks like that amounts to NO, Atlanta, Seattle, and one mystery team)
It is now looking that Shockey will no longer be a Giant by Sunday morning.
He would be a FORMIDABLE weapon in Seattle.

Matt Hasselbeck is having to take injections in his lower back to practice and play
a scary thing when you look and see that your primary back up QB Senaca Wallace is returning punts

the injections suposedly were for back spasms, and he also has a herniated disc. This could be hasselbecks last season

Steeler fans should never worry about the schedule. Other teams should worry about having to play the Steelers.

the Seahawks do re-add former first rounder Koren Robinson back to the team
they also send a late round draft pick to Denver for WR Keary Colbert
"Just because of the terms and circumstances I left Seattle on, I never thought I'd be back," Robinson said. "I'm grateful for this chance. I think it can be a good story — for me and the team."
Because of the injuries at WR and Robinson's prior knowledge of the playbook he could start as early as this week versus St Louis

this season the Seahwaks have allowed opposing QBs to go
29 for 46 with 342 yards, 2 TDs, and a passer rating od 100.1 on 3rd downs.
hard to win if you cannot stop teams on 3rd down

Re: Seahawk news
Washington huskie fans are in a full court press to lure back football alumni Jim Mora to take over has head coach of their struggling football team. The Huskies recent became the latest team to fire quadruple failure Tyrone Willingham and will be looking to follow the Notre Dame play book and replace Willingham with a proven NFL talent with strong ties to the school.
This is a big deal because until a week ago the Seattle Seahawks thought they had Jim Mora locked up as their next head coach.
So Mora has two choices...
Return to your college;
where you will be greeted as a concouring hero home from war.
Where you will be handed the youngest team in major college football.
Where you have an 0 and forever blanket to coast against for two seasons minimum
Where 7 wins next season gives you a Joe Paterno like job security for your life.
Where you can say "hey Notre Dame gave Charlie Weis 10 years 100 million dollars to fix what Willignham screwed up"
OR you can take an NFL head coaching job on;
a team whose QB is on the down hill and fighting career damaging injuries.
a team whose LT and LG will retire any day
a team who is playing horrible
a team in desperate need of a total offensive over all
I mean Jim Mora has walked down this road in Atlanta. He saw his dad struggle under the same conditions in New Orleans.
What would you do?
ME, I am going to get fitted for my HIGH BISHOP of Huskieville robe and tellign my wife to start looking in the high rent district for a new palace.

Re: Seahawk news
Matt Hasselbeck was asked at a Seattle area school if he thought girls should be allowed to play in the NFL?
"Girls can play in the NFL. Ben Roethlisberger plays for the Steelers, right?" answered Hasselbeck
"Joking. Totally joking. That was a joke," Hasselbeck said, chuckling.
NICE
