just a question, I know the franchise QB does not run the team but maybe ask him if he is happy with his tight end before you draft another one in the top 10 and make them the highest paid EVER.
I have to wonder; with the HUGE holes in the 49 secondary, the emergence of Mike Huff as a player, the record contract it took to get Vernon Davis to the table, and this love affair with the existing TE does SF want a do over on that #6 draft pick?

the 49ers have lost big Larry Allen to a MCL for 2 to 4 weeks leaving a gap at LG
this is combined with the loss of Jonas Jennings with an ankle injury at LT
