With a record 38 million dollars in cap space the 49ers are expected to be HUGE players for LB Adalius Thomas and S Ken Hamlin.
Thomas is familure with 49ers head coach Nolan and Asst head coach LBs Mike Singeltary. The defense ran in SF is also much the same as the one still ran in Baltimore.

It is now being circulated that when Nate Clements visits the 49ers today it will be to sign a contract making him the richest CB in the NFL, not just to visit with team officals.
SF is apparently very afraid of Tennessee's interest in Clements and intend to convince Clements there is not reason to take that scheduled visit.

There is also some speculation that the 49ers and LB Adalius Thomas have already agreed to a deal in principal.
