Why would anyone root for this long shot?
6 years ago he was standing on the deck of the USS Cole as a Navy midshipman when it was attacked
his journey from there to an NFL try out is a testament to hard work and will power
best of luck son

I will root for the kid. A National Hero, and he should be recognized as such, as should all of the kids in uniform. The fact that he is getting a shot at the NFL after serving our country and keeping you, me, and my family safe makes it even better.

Michael Strahan began his first season in 1993 with a teamate LB Steve DeOssie.
Now at 35 years old in his 15th season Strahan begins the year with a teammate LB Zak DeOssie.
When you start playing with ex-teamates sons you know the end is near right?

Unbelievable!!! I am sure that has happened in baseball before, but football? I am not so certain. Does anybody know of any other circumstances like that?

Jerome Bettis (he did predict the Cohwer out of Pitt thing) has a hot sports opinion about the Giants and his former head coach next season...
"I really think he'll be coaching next year, and I think he'll be coaching in New York," Bettis said.

Why not the Giants? You will get to see him more often. Or would you prefer he was on the Redskins staff?

Steeler fans should never worry about the schedule. Other teams should worry about having to play the Steelers.

Prefer if he was retired.
And not even he can fix the Redskins.

That would be fine by me, but don't they have 4 good DE's? I mean, those 2 are very good, and it would hurt their depth, but aren't they one of the deeper teams at that position?

I know they are moving Kiuanaku to LB. Maybe not if these holdouts take place.
