Re: Saints News
how does Reggie Bush heal up from knee surgery?
by surprising his curvalicous girl friend in Vegas

Re: Saints News
Saints guard Jamar Nesbit will not appeal his suspension and will start serving immediately
“Under NFL rules, you are strictly liable for what is in your body,” said his lawyer, Brian Molloy. “They don’t care how it got there, contaminated supplements or otherwise. So he did not appeal his suspension."
However Nesbit is suing the manufacturer of a weight loss supplement called "starcaps" which is thought to be the source of the BUMETANIDE found in nesbit's system.
Nesbit has three other teamamtes that are appealing their suspensions

Re: Saints News
the nightmare seasonf or the Saints just got worse
RB Deuce McAllister GONE
DE Will Smith GONE
DE Charles Grant GONE
to sush up the non stop cry baby whinning the league reiterated statements every player is told...
"You and you alone are responsible for what goes into your body. Claiming that you used only legally available nutritional supplements will not help you in an appeal. ... Even if they are bought over-the-counter from a known establishment, there is currently no way to be sure that they contain the ingredients listed on the packaging or have not been tainted with prohibited substances ...
"If you take these products, you do so AT YOUR OWN RISK! For your own health and success in the league, we strongly encourage you to avoid the use of supplements altogether, or at the very least to be extremely careful about what you choose to take."
The NFL also reminded the belly aching offenders...
The NFL sent two notifications about StarCaps on Dec. 19, 2006 -- one to NFL club presidents, general managers and head athletic trainers and the second to NFLPA executive Stacy Robinson, who oversees the steroid policy for the union. That letter, according to the league, advised that StarCaps had been added to the list of prohibited dietary supplement companies.
Common Atlanta bust these dudes up, they cannot get to you QB so throw early and often.

So why wasn't that fat arse Grady suspended? The Commish trying to help raise the Falcons out of the ashes?

pretty good question
I assume it has something to do with Jackson filing suit against the company.
One other Saint, Jamar Nesbit, did the right thing he did not appeal his suspension and sued the company. He is now eligible to return to the Saints and the compnay is paying him the $235,294 he lost in wages while suspended.
I cannot see Jackson getting away free though and suspect his suspension is coming.

The NFL has stated they have asked Grady for additional information pertaining to his case and are delaying judgement until they receive it. Probably in four weeks.

Re: Saints News
Anybody else feel that Drew Brees did not deserve the AP Offensive Player of the Year award? I like the guy. My favorite QB. But while his yards passed (5070) and his TD numbers (34) were awesome, his team finished 8-8 and his passing yards are inflated by the fact that they were always down, so he was just airing it out (which also led to high INTs - 17).
Offensive player of the year should have gone to Michael Turner, in my opinion.
