Clarke....I gave my OPINION on the way I saw things happening.......
I read newspapers, magazines, e-mail sports opinions.........and to repeat quotes already printed is redundant, to say the least.
Still....I am perfectly CAPABLE of FORMING an opinion on the way things have been happening...HELL...even my husband the WRESTLER has heard about the issues in Philedelphia....as we were discussing them last night. To blindly say that there IS no issue is more than homerism.......it is simply hiding ones head in the sand.
I pay little attention to sports radio.....around here it is more gossip than sports....
But again...am able to form an opinion about an issue by reading commentaries from SI, the KC Star, nfl.com, and other such venues....
Why is it, I wonder, that others can hear one side....then the other.....form THEIR opinion and print it.....and are not accused of not thinking for themselves....
I cannot seem to agree (or DISAGREE) with ANYONE around here w/out hearing some such nonsense....and am, frankly, sick of it.

Personally...I'm looking forward to seeing Mcnabb healthy and playing without the troubled receiver around...I think that when he's healthy...he can take a the eagles on his back and do something good...in the playoffs!!!...I think I've been drinking too much philly juice...I did not ever think that I could root for the eagles..but you know...since my team has won a championship...maybe??..no..forget it......

Whatever issues he has heard about are from an uninformed national media. Would you say local news and media has more information about the KC Chiefs or National media that reports from New York? The reporters here are paid to dig up dirt here and when all I hear is crickets then I know that there is probably nothing out there. I read all of the local newspapers and listen to and watch the local sports talk shows and here nothing about how Donovan has lost the team, then I go on ESPNnews and see speculation of IF he has lost it, they are not saying that he has, they are speculating IF he has. Big difference. In other words, there is no story, but we know that if we say McNabbs name and TOs name in a soundbite you are going to watch further.....I fall for it to, then I see its the same sorry old story and realize there is nothing there.....that dog don't fly.
And furthermore, if you are going to express an opinion try and, just once in awhile, cite a few sources to back it up. I can tell you that the Temple Owls are going to win the NCAA Championship in football this year but it won't make it true. Now if I said they are going to win the championship this year because Joe Pa just took over the show, brought half his team with him and somehow got Reggie Bush, who miraculously got his eligibility back, then I have an opinion that is based on something other than I heard EO say it first. Now maybe your opinion is based on more, but when I hear you parroting EO all the time, and offer nothing new, then I get tired of the parroting and it sounds like an unfounded opinion. You are permitted to have a differing opinion than mine, everybody is entitled to be wrong sometimes, but have an opinion based on fact, not because you heard something from your son, who heard it from a friend, who heard it from their sisters lesbian lovers mothers third cousin who happened to overhear it from a stranger who claims to have just flown in from Mars and has a dog who is groomed by the woman who is the neighbor of a guy that thought he saw Donovan McNabb at the airport, but then realized it was Emmanuel Lewis.

have you seen how thin he looks at camp? whoa nellie, if his line protects him, we are going to see some fireworks. He is going to have a career season with Reggie Brown and Westbrook going nuts with him.

He was taken off of it today and has started practicing.....I give him until the 4th quarter of the 2nd preseason game until he gets hurt and is out for the year (of course, he probably will not see action until the 3rd game, so he actually will get hurt while getting a towel for Ryan Moats on the sideline).
Buckhalter cannot stay healthy, I do not count on him. They should never have resigned him to a 2 year contract the year before last. They should have cut him as soon as the last injury occured.

THE NEWS
Eagles injured running back Correll Buckhalter has been taken off the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list and will begin participating in practices at training camp. Buckhalter missed all of 2002, 2004 and 2005 with varying knee injuries. Right now Buckhalter is third on the running back depth chart in Philly behind starter Brian Westbrook and second year man Ryan Moats.
