Adam Meadows 6'5 290 round T has just come out of retirement.
Not sure what he has left but he is exactly the kind of veteran the Packers need as a depth piece.
Meadows would be in a situation where; he may or may not make the team so startign is not going to be a big deal, he has skins on the wall having played inot the playoffs with Indy and Carolina, he is the mobile undersized T that excells in the zone scheme, and he is a leader ont he field which would help season the youngsters.
If he fought hard all the way through pre season and made the team GREAT
IF he fought hard all the way and got cut NO BIGGIE
If by fighting hard he helped the development of the youngsters WONDERFUL
It is the exact scenario for veteran help the packers need.

Definitely! makes sense.....
read that they were also a potential trade partner for Oakland's Porter...which I don't like.

it is like Turnblow and Kolb for the Crew
they are just going to keep signing them until they get one that does not give up the arse with the game on the line

It's called depth. Better than relying on the likes of "Burnt Toast" Carrol as your backup.

No...they're usually escorting him in after an INT TD. And like swivel head Carrol can tackle. "Which way did they go, which way did they go". A. Carrol quote.

Carroll has averaged 43 tackles a year
I do not think anyone would say his problem is not being able to get his hands ON players
