2009 general discussion iteems
The 2009 preseason schedule has been released. There were some suprise changes. One is the Cardinals playing the Steelers, and the Steelers not playing the Eagles.
Regular season schedule has been rumored to be released next wek,

In a differant subject, Mike Florio released a list of 2006 first round draftees, who are now classified as a bust, not a bust, or incomplete. reggie Bush and Vince Young top the Bust list, and Bobby Carpenter and Vernon Davis some that are added later. Worth the read.

The week to week schedule is not so much an interest, as how the teams who had a soft schedule last year will do in a tough schedule this year. Such as the AFC East.
After the draft, we need to kick into gear projections for the coming NFL season, such as the Steelers and Colts, who played some of the toughest schedules last year, and how they will do this year. Have to figure if they won 12 last year, that 12 is in reach this year.

hopefully... dude... I cannot wait until the draft. almost feels like a mini-football season in and of itself! LOL... (and hopefully this place gets a pulse again, before it gets shut down???)

Madden
I guess since Favre has retired(or so we are led to believe), Madden had too also since his talking points won't exist anymore.
