Can the Lions prevent 0 and 16?

Ironically the two streaks could meet on Thanksgiving Day.

the one day of the year that the Lions cease being an "easy win" and always play over their head

the New York Jets will go to Tennessee this week with an upset on their mind and the Lions will NOT lay down at home versus Tampa

so could it be that the Titans do as so many teams have done and over look the Lions on turkey day and end both streaks?


for the Lions their best shot to win comes in the next three weeks as they are home

but 0 and 16 looks to be a VERY real possibility for the hapless Lions

Seriously, I don't see any possibility of Tennessee running the gauntlet. I mean, looking at that schedule, and with Kerry Collins at QB (I still can't get over it), even with running 52% of the time, how are they winning?

And the Lions will probably go 0-16. TB is their only shot, and I don't see them winning. They are pathetic.

Defense holds field position

The run game gets them time of possession

and Collins is punishing teams when they over load to stop the run

add in the best punter in the AFC

and it is pretty classic old style old style football

beat em up then beat em ugly

the Lions do suck
