I was offended by the even mention of it, more or less the thought of it, but Rich's comments bring it even more to the forefront of dumb arse ideas. Rich is 100% right how can you tell great football cities like Pittsburgh and Green Bay they cannot have Super Bowls because of weather and the potential for travel problems it creates, only to turn around and make fans travel overseas, with a passport, to the rainest city in the world?
If this Commish also roles over and lets Tank back two weeks early, cowtowing to his leader Jerry Jones I think he should be impeached and replaced.

NOW I understand...I was reading stuff about the Draft.......and then.....
Anyway....now that I'm on board, so to speak.....I'm w/ Rich.....
ESPECIALLY after all of the crap KC had to go through to get the promise that they MAY be able to sponsor a SB in the next 10-12 years.......
What is the man THINKING? (Idiot boy works for me.....)

note lost in all of ours discussions on whom would and would not get a Super Bowl for whatever reason that the new commissioner beant stright over and handed Jerry Jones a Super Bowl despite the fact the City of Arlington has NONE of the existing infastructure to accomidate a mega super event like the Super Bowl.
Not enough computer lines, power lines, hotels, roads, places to eat, with egress and ingress problems to the nearest airport.
Then again idiot boy proves every time he is Jerry Jones biatch

it is a well established pattern
this year it may not look like the optimal pick, however next year when Corey Williams is 40 million dollar lost free agent (Darwin Walker a far inferior player got 30 so I am guessing) it will look better.
see that is how TT roles, thinking about the future and the present.

Dude, you forgot one who is having a spectacular year, a big reason why the Birds defense is ranked 7th, after being ranked about 25th last year, despite missing Lito Shepard and Brian Dawkins for much of the year.....Broderick Bunkley is having a great year.

to be honest I would say Mike Patterson (either of the qualify as 1st round DT playing better now) is playing the better football of the two, but I would concede that might be in part because of Bunkleys upper body strength demanding double teams.

when a guy is as powerful as Bunkley is it is hard not to make an impact, if you can stay healthy and use any technique at all.
Bunkley is one of the strongest players to enter the league in years. His skill sets and Patterson's off set each other perfectly.
Philly has to be happy with those two DTs.

Not much else to be happy about I guess, though, oddly enough, the Birds defense has actually been very good, which is why I believe they can still climb back into it. But only if we start running the ball. You know we are the most efficient team in the running game, averaging more from the line of scrimmage per carry than any other.....why does the fat man not run it then? There has not been a game where we were out of it early, so there was no reason to stop running. Even with a McNabb at 60% of what he once was, that is still 20% than Garcia gave us last year. Reid must go.

thing about it is Westbrook not McNabb is the best player on that offensive football team. the wideouts are average (probably better to say they lack a true #1 because if they had one Curtis, Brown, and Avant would be a good 2 thru 4), the line is built for power not passing. Everything on that offense SCREAMS run the football, everything but the play callers.
