it is a little misleading who will go first because
Jeff Fisher, Lovie Smith, John Gruden, and I believe John Fox are all in the final years of their contracts.

No way Fox loses his job. I think its a foregone conclusion that Fisher is gone.

I don't think he said he would "lose" his job, but that he is in the final year of his contract and could be lured away for the dough.

Lovie and Fox are gonna return. Gruden probably will also. Fisher is a goner.

Very true you are my friend Loan. I would provide some back ground notes.
John Fox is from San Diego born raised college and coached there.
Fox has also coached for the Raiders, Steelers, and Giants all of whom possibly could be looking a new head coach.
Also there is some under lying current that Carolina would be the ODDS on favorite to land a certain head coach contemplating retirement because his family now lives in Carolina.
So if Fox got huge dollars to go home, Carolina could then give huge dollars to Bill Chower to coach next to his little girls school and his new house.
Jon Gruden is from Ohio and his wife is from Tennessee, a former Vols cheerleader in fact. Tennessee is also the first coaching job Gruden ever had. Both Cleveland and Tennessee might be looking a new head coach.
Lovie Smith is from Texas, in fact his wife and family still reside in Texas and the Cowboys might need a new head coach.
Jeff Fisher still freely admits he is a Bears fan. The former Bear was Walter Payton's roomate and is a strong tie to the past.
All this of course public knowledge stuff but when you look at it in that perspective you never know.

Nice job putting it all together EO. See it like this you can sure see how things could get really interesting after the season.

Unless Fox wants to abandon a really good team in Carolina and take on a miserable, never will succeed team (until the old man dies and his daughter is abducted by aliens or something) in Oakland, no way Fox leaves Carolina for California, because the Chargers are going deep into the playoffs and will not jettison Marty Schottenheimer. So that means that Cowher probably goes back to Pittsburgh for at least 1 season. The rest of the scenarios make perfect sense. Also, as you pointed out a few weeks back, firing Art Shell makes little sense as he was the only person Al Davis could find that would consider coaching for him. That job is a death march. Who else is dumb enough to take it?
