My Super Bowl Party
Okay, so we have been working on the menu, but I dunno... the imagination is lacking.
of course, we have wings... 4 kinds! Buffalo, fried, baked (wifey), and mango curry (trust me on this one... whoa!). we are also having sweet & sour meatballs, potato salad, mac & cheese, deviled eggs and a veggie tray. of course, the typical chips & dip setups.
but you see? all very nice... but lacks that POP! something's missing. suggestions? I was going to do some baby back ribs... but with all these people now showing up, that is not exactly a sound economical decision! LOL...
-Rich
Oh yes... there will be plenty of beer and other assorted uh... beverages.

Sounds good. What time should I be there. How about some crab stuffed mushrooms, or the old reliable Brats. Although the ribs sound good, but your right, things could get pretty expensive.

I thought about brats, actually.
hmm, on the mushroom idea... THAT'S what's missing... seafood options! we get shrimp around here pretty cheap... I'm thinking some chipotle bbq seasoning, and BAM! LOL...

ACME!!! LOL... dude, I didn't even know that store existed anywhere anymore! I have not seen one of them since I was a kid! as far as I can tell, they never existed here in Southern Maryland where I live now. But growing up in Harrisburg, PA, we had one over at Kline Village. Closed its doors permanently quite some time ago, when I was still a young teenager... I think around 13 or so... maybe 12.
sorry... its funny how some things can trigger childhood memories... LOL...

Re: My Super Bowl Party
is it right to have a PITTSBURGH STEELERS super bowl party with out
either Devonshire or Primanti sandwhich?
Roast a turkey man open faced sandwhich it up
slaw and fries dude or just order it in Primanti Brothers Restaurant - Pittsburgh's Most Famous Sandwiches
Seriously I like you lay out you have though, did I see any chili?
Brats would be cheaper than ribs BUT you also run the risk of having more left over as some house fraus will not eat a brat
you might just try adding some fajita's
you can get the meat (beef, chicken, or shrimp) at your local mexican meat market cheap and it goes a HELL of a long way

strangely, I hadn't thought about the sandwiches. hmmm.... like the fajitas idea too.

Re: My Super Bowl Party
what... like you choked on your moonshine, while you were using your mouse to tickle your virtual girlfriend's nipples on www.createmyownheyli.com, after the Cowboys completed one of the most impressive collapses of an over-hyped team in NFL history?
don't worry... I won't. my wife is an actual physical being, and therefore will make sure I receive any medical attention I require. but thanks for the concern!
