It is genius campaign strategy, why be the "black" canidate when you can just be a canidate
Of course slapping Clinton in the face is fun too

with tonights win in florida
and tomorrow's Rudy Guiliani endorsement
John McCain has, in every thing but the math, won the nomination
which probably ensures the Democrats regain the White House

With Bill Clinton effectively driving the black vote to Obama, he can go back to being the bridge between the races.

Whether it's McCain or the Democrat nominee, it's a Democrat in the Whitehouse.

I would be much happier for minorities every where if the right person was choosen for the job and he happened to be Black, than I would if a manwas elected just because he was black
I hope Obama can be the canidate of real hope, not just the canidate from hope Arkansas
I do not know if I think he can beat Hillary, but I am pretty sure he would beat John McCain
I do KNOW that if Obama cannot beat her no one else is going too.
All it means for Obama if he loses, is he goes back to Washington serves out the next 3.9 years of his term.
If Hillary loses she has to worry about being up for the Senate again QUICKLY and perhaps her career in politics over.

This also might allow Obama to win a traditionally red state in the general election for the blue team.
of course Sebelius is the lady a lot of us decided was crazy last night for saying congress "should be thanked for Iraq"

you all may think she is crazy.....but look out...Kathleen Sebelius is the Democrats "Rising Star"
From many reports that I have seen, the lady is being groomed for the presidency (in future years, of course).

[quote=eoeleven;102819]I am hearing that Barack Obama is going to be "whitened" in Kansas
where pictures of his white mother and his white grand parents are going around
if the Obama campaign can do that he will effectively cut Bill Clinton off at the knees
I really did not think the campaign would flow that way after trying so hard to move him away from that perception of transcended black man
Honestly Obama is a better canidate as just a canidate so the efforts to show both sides of the man could actually catapualt him back to where he was at the DNC in 2004
I also discovered today that unlike the GoP elections NY, NY, nor Cali are winner take all for the Dems far as delegates

that did happen, btw....but I doubt that it cuts Bill Clinton off at the knees....
in fact...some will see him as "selling out"

Rudy Guiliani has, as of now, officially dropped out of the race, lending his support to John McCain.
