Re: Election 2008
One last try at turning you Rich...
Tax cuts....
I don't know what you and your wife make, but here is a calculator that supposedly is non-partisan that will tell you what tax cut you will make depending on how much you make, how many children you have, and how many people in the family are working. Now, I say it says its non-partisan, but it will tell you in big red letters what you will get back under Obama's plan, and in little black letters, almost hidden is what you will get under McCain's plan...funny thing though, as a married man, father of 2, sole earner, I get more under McCain's plan for $50,000 and above, more from Obama if I make 35,000 or less (so somewhere in the middle of those is the turning point).
And what it is not telling you of course is when corporate taxes go up, prices go up, so its a backdoor tax to you the consumer. And we all know which one talks about taxing the corporations.
Try the link and see what you think....
ObamaTaxCut.com - What's your Obama Tax Cut?!
if that does not work, try ObamaTaxCut.com - What's your Obama Tax Cut?

It is totally partisan. At the bottom it has an area where you can email someone with the message "I'm getting x number of dollars back under the Obama tax plan".......That's it. No mention on what you'd get back under McCain, even though it may be more/much more. I tried several different inputs, and it's amazing how many times McCains was better than Obama Hood. Many more senarios where better under McCain, and that includes middle class.

Re: Election 2008
got the word today Obama is pulling out of Houston and San Antonio and moving those volunteers via bus to New Mexico and Ohio respectively
Obama never really figured he could win Texas but he was counting on dinging up the margin by taking those two cities
this move out either means he has got em locked down, which is unlikely
or it is no longer worth it
it is telling where they are going Ohio is not a shock, but New Mexico is
if the rumors that the latino communties are not really on board with Obama and could be leaning back to McCain (who is SOFT on immigration) are true this race is closer than we think.
all the electoral maps projections are with Obama carrying high numbers of latinos in New Mexico, Florida, and other battleground states.
this might not sound like much but it is about the best news I have heard in a while

Re: Election 2008
30 minutes of air time
$4 dollars
delaying the World Series final
preempting TV shows
for WHAT?
so he can ramble on with nothing to say?
so America can once again see how unattractive his wife is?
so people can tell horror stories about insurance companies?
so he can do some fancy hand shake with Bill Clinton?
he did not do it because he had to.
he did not do it because he needed to.
he did not do it because it was a good idea (pundits inside and out of his campaign said it was a bad idea)
he did it because he could, because he wanted to flex his muscles and waste $4 million dollars.
I HOPE to hell Americans see this fiasco for what it was the biggest example yet of the over enflated ego of Barack Obama
