my only point... again... is I fail to see how this attack should dictate who one should vote for. that is all I am trying to say. sorry guys... some of that was uncalled for. just frustration, I guess. I just feel like just about anything I say at all that can remotely be construed as being supportive of Obama here is attacked... for lack of a better word. and rightfully so... you all support McCain, and have the right, of course, to respond however you prefer to my support of Obama. if I cannot take the heat, I should stay my ass out the kitchen.

I'm voting Democrat because I believe the government will do a better job of spending the money I earn than I would.

I'm voting Democrat because freedom of speech is fine as long as nobody is offended by it.

I'm voting Democrat because when we pull out of Iraq I trust that the bad guys will stop what they're doing because they now think we're good people.

I'm voting Democrat because I believe that people who can't tell us if it will rain on Friday CAN tell us that the polar ice caps will melt away in ten years if I don't start driving a Prius.

I'm voting Democrat because I'm not concerned about the slaughter of millions of babies so long as we keep all death row inmates alive.

I'm voting Democrat because I believe that business should not be allowed to make profits for themselves. They need to break even and give the rest away to the government for redistribution as THEY see fit.

I'm voting Democrat because I believe three or four pointy headed elitist liberals need to rewrite the Constitution every few days to suit some fringe kooks who would NEVER get their agendas past the voters.

I'm voting Democrat because I believe that when the terrorists don't have to hide from us over there; when they come over here I don't want to have any guns in the house to offend them and make them mad

I'm voting Democrat because I love the fact that I can now marry whatever I want. I've decided to marry my horse.

I'm voting Democrat because I believe oil companies' profits of 4% on a gallon of gas are obscene but the government taxing the same gallon of gas at 15% isn't.

at the risk of sounding like a total moron, I swear to you maybe two weeks ago I watched two video clips where folks in the crown yelled out out "terrorist" and "treason" regarding Obama at a Palin rally. for whatever reason, I cannot seem to locate those very same clips now. pretty wild.

what I did find, however, is an article and clip where Palin did say she would not stand for such things if she heard them. the crowds are large... lots of stuff is being yelled... I heard them, but then, I was watching video. I will give her the benefit of the doubt, and hold her at her word that if she heard inappropriate comments, she would react accordingly, like her running mate did. here is that clip/article:

so yes... I was upset that she did not take the stance against it that McCain took. which I have credited him for time and time again in this very thread. so just to clarify, I really have nothing against McCain. I just disagree with him on some things. he is definitely no Bush... that much is for damn sure!

If only the media followed the same wisdom and restraint with the "Kill Him" story. I've not see one network news station retract the "Kill Him" story.
