in a sure sign Obama is sweating Wisconsin he has closed all eleven campaign offices in North Dakota and moved all of those people to Wisconsin and bordering parts of Minnesota.
Obama is also encouraging members of his Chicago offices to cross the broder and campaign for him in Wisconsin.
in a sure sign he just does not get it Obama reminded people in Green Bay he is a Bears fan...
“Let’s get this out of the way: I’m sorry about last night but I’ll tell you what, the Bears are 1-2, so I’ll tell you what, we’re having a tougher time.” As the crowd cheered, Obama said.”
maybe there is hope for McCain yet, but I doubt it

McCain has meeting with Wall Streeters and CEOs to discuss the bail out deal.
McCain took Mitt Romney with him
I got to tell you as a Romney fan, I am kind of sick of McCain latching on to him every time he needs to talk economy but largely ignoring him the rest of the time.
and it continues my thoughts that the GoP has the wrong man running for the office of the Presidency. I am tellign you right now Mitt Romney would have won this deal.
I cannot wait for Romney vs Obama in 2012

ironically, that is the very thing working in his favor. with Bush's current approval rating being what it is, people are not necessarily being swayed by "experience" right now.
not saying it is right... just saying, this whole election is about change from the status quo, and not "experience" per se... which is exactly why McCain tabbed Palin, and is trying to sing the "change" message as well.

New Thursday Sept. 25 polls...
Rasmussen North Carolina Obama +2
for reference the last two Rasmussens in NC
9/18 McCain +3
8/13 McCain +6
so that is an eight point swing for Obama in 40 days
Research 2000 Wisconsin Obama +6
EPIC-MRA Michigan Obama +10
the telling thing in the Michigan poll is the VP favorable
Sarah Palin
- Favorable – 46%
- Unfavorable – 40%
Joe Biden
- Favorable – 52%
- Unfavorable – 31%

if you look at the Bush approval ratings over a time frame they are going up
CNN 9/05 -42
CNN 9/12 -37
Democracy Corps 9/10 -24
Democracy Corps 9/3 -29
Democracy Corps 7/12 -36
funny it almost looks like the less enamored people get with the prospect of Obama or McCain the less they hate George Bush

and yet, McCain continues to try to distance himself from many of Bush's policies (not all... but many).

it is a has too
but McCain distances the wrong way; his comments about firing Cox and hiring Coumo show just how much a dumb arse he is abotu the processes.
1. the President CANNOT fire him, nor can the President say "if I want them to resign, they will resign" that is the kind of talk that causes million dollar law suits
2. Andrew Coumo is general considered as the father of the Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac and general housing issues by both sides of the aisle. I mean major things that happened under his HUD secretary service were dominoes that startign the housing mess falling.
They have to find a way to shut John McCain's mouth or the toliet bowl cycle will continue
