and with one snub John McCain just sent the GoP spinning for the next 4 years.

Do you think this snub was intentional, so as to differentiate McCain from the type of reeligious leaders Obama would not let go of?

other than political suicide I am not sure what it was
This is possibly the stupidest move I have ever seen a PoTUS canidate make.

Edwards tells Obama that he would not be open to runnign for VP again.
Fred Thompson says he has no interest and would not consider being McCain's VP.
Bobby Jindal says that there is too much going on in his state for him to even consider leaving it.
The VP list are getting shorter.
On the flip side there are rumblings that GoP PoTUS canidate Congressman Ron Paul might soon repay a favor. Congressman Bob Barr was a vocal endorser of the Ron Paul campaign and only after McCain closed on the nomination accepted the Libetarian nominee. Barr is currently courting evangelicals, Uber conservatives, and federalist to back his campaign. They are running on the "must teach the GoP where their base is, and while doing it maybe we can pull off an upset" platform. Needless to say a Ron Paul endorsement would bring a much needed influx of cash and an established following.

I believe that the media is screwing us over as we speak by hiding these issues....if it was a Republican with this background they would have buried him months ago.
And what employed individual in this country wants a guy who will, besides handing us over to the muslims, who we ARE at war with, tax the working man into the poorhouse? If you think employment is bad now (which it is not.....full employment, by definition, is 95% of the work force.....we are at 94.9 or something....so its pretty damn good), just wait until business's close forever because they are taxed out of business.....or they leave our shore's forever because some 3rd world country gives them tax free low cost labor.
But on the other hand, if we can send a message to the Republican party that we want conservatives......but didn't we try to send that message with Ross Perot? I mean, that is why he got my vote in 1992. To send a message that we need somebody who understands that we need business men running the country, not lawyers.....and all that "message" got me was 8 years of Clinton, and by residual affect, it might get me 4 to 8 years of Obama (because he is not where he is today without the Clinton's).

If you believe, as I do, that it is impossible for an old man that refuses to listen to ANYONE about ANYTHING to beat a young media darling then what do you have to lose?
Maybe just maybe the next guy will remember what the GoP is supposed to be.
At this point, baring a VERY nice VP selection by McCain I suspect Obama wins 45* plus states in the general, in what would be the second largest ass whooping in PoTUS history.

Polls now suggest that even if McCain pulls a 12% win with white males he still would not beat Barack Obortion
so not even the elitest card (John McCain's strongest weapon at this point) can win McCain the election
