University of Texas
Kicked some sooner butt today. They have a massive offensive line.
Oklahoma has a huge LT named Philip Loadholt, 6'8" 337lbs, that reminds me of Leonard Davis.

Impressive back to back wins and game plan for OU and Colorado
but that UT secondary is suspect and someone is going to exploit it enough to win some week
two big games the next two weeks with Kansas lurking in the future
any let down at all after beating OU and Missou will punish them for it.
I do not see UT in the top 5 at the end of the year, but they could be top 10 and have a nice bowl

Ya they're just number one in both polls. I guess you are right EO, UT sucks.

The Big 10 is behind the Big 12, SEC, ACC, Pac 10, and the MAC. The congeference is a joke.

They have 3 teams in the top 20. Penn State beat the other 2. The only reason people are down on them is that the stalworts are not what they were. Michigan sucks, but Michigan State has taken their place. Ohio State beat USC, who everybody still thinks is awesome. Penn State beat them. The Big 10 still has some teams that will be ranked at the end of the year....and Penn State will have beaten them all. They deserve that #2 slot. They will get their chance. Alabama is losing one of the next 2 (LSU or Florida, I think Florida beats them), and Texas Tech won't get past Oklahooma State this Saturday.

I only need one of the top 2 teams to lose, so that will be fine....but seeing your record on picking games, I am confident now that Bama will lose both.

Re: University of Texas
Bama has 1 hell of a defense and they are about to get 380 pounds of Terrence Cody back too
a college 3/4 NT of 380 pounds is equivilent to parking a volks wagon in the middle of the Dline
still that said the idea of Nick Saban marchignt he Tide into the bayou and out unblemished does not seem right to me.
Nick Saban is the most hated man in Louisiana, hell he is more hated there than Katrina. this game is LSU's super bowl at home in the bayou
then even if Alabama wins that game they get to play Florida at some point, the same Florida that is murdering very good football teams tryign to get enough style points to vault into the top two.
Alabama is their ticket to the national championship and the Gators know that.
Texas Tech has three TOUGH football games left against Oklahoma State, Oklahoma, and a Baylor team that gets better every week. IF they run that guanlet it means a game versus a pissed off Missouri team needing a win to validate their below expectations season. I figure they end the season with two loses.
Penn State is really looking at two trap games and then a one dimensional Michigan State team. If the Nittany Lions just stay sharp they should be the best undefeated team in college football. (Boise State has a good chance too)
In short when the smoke clears...
Florida versus Penn State for the National Championship
OU vs Boise State for the Fiesta Bowl
Alabama versus TCU for the Sugar Bowl
USC versus Texas for the Rose Bowl
North Carolina versus Pitt for the Orange Bowl
This is not to say these are the best teams, but based on conference ties to the BCS bowl games.
*notes my scenario has
Florida winning the SEC
Penn State winning the Big 10
OU winning the Big 12
Boise State going undefeated
North Carolina winning the ACC
Pitt winning the Big East
Alabama #2 in SEC
Texas #2 in Big 12
TCU with one loss getting picked over two loss Ohio State as the replacement in the Sugar
