The Ravens are back on that Super Bowl pace on defense. When Baltimore won the Super Bowl in 2000, the Ravens gave up an average of 257 yards per game and 10 points. After two weeks, the team that always refers to its defense as a bunch of guys out hunting is giving up 153 yards and 3 points per game.
just for comparison

You will also note they had a three game losing streak, Redskins, Titans, and Steelers. The other loss was to the Dolphins

To add to the comparison, the Ravens went undefeated in preseason in 2000, but were .500 in 2006

I'm sorry, but weren't the Ratbirds first two games against the Bucs and the Raiders?
Uh... yeah. all kinds of offensive punch there. I gotta admit... I'm impressed.

We are used to Ray getting credit for tackles in games he was not suited up for, so stealing the ball from his team mate is expected, just suprised he didn't have a knife with him.

and any time he is not making an impact, he will bitch to the coaches, get his defense changed up, and try again.
I pay attention to the vermin of the AFC North when they beat somebody worth talking about.

Come 6 November, come talk to me abouut the Ravens record, by then they will have proven themselves, or fallen flat on their face. And that is before they play the Steelers for the first time

I did add the ravens current schedule to my previous post. I do not think the Ravens have the same moxy, as the team of 2000. They are trying to live off the past. The world, and the NFL did not stand still, meaning no Super Bowl repeat for the Ravens. They have a shot at a wildcard though
